IMO the SBC is unknowable. It is all a crapshoot every season. Every year someone comes out of nowhere to compete. Favorites still seem to hang on but as time goes on they are no longer favorites, ask Troy, and N Texas both had long runs of being the elite. Right now stAte is that team, having shared or owned the last three.
