Martin Jacobson donates $2.5 million for naming rights to UMass Football Press and Skybox Complex at McGuirk Stadium

Martin (Marty) Jacobson committed $2.5 million to the university Monday afternoon in a ceremony featuring UMass Chancellor Kumble R. Subbaswamy, Athletics Director John McCutcheon and head football coach Charley Molnar.

Martin Jacobson, a 1968 graduate of UMass, said the chance to make an impact following the university’s transition to the Football Bowl Subdivision was the impetus behind the gift.
