The dumpster is no longer on fire in Atlanta.
Ga State had two problems at the beginning of the year.
1) The on the field product was not credible as a FBS program. The on the field product was not credible as a FCS program either.
2) The lack of support for the program brought up questions as to the viability of the program

Ga State has solved the first problem. They have 4 wins (and you might get some more). They have a road OOC win. They've played other teams tight in losses too. Their on the field product isn't a joke. And that's a huge win.
Ga State hasn't done much about the second problem. And the calls are getting louder. But if he didn't solve the on the field problem, he isn't going to be able to solve the second one.
One problem at a time.

Miles has bought his program some time to work on the second problem. Fire him and replace him with a bad hire and they could lose their program.
Georgia State is ahead of where I thought they'd be.
Keep Miles. He's done a great job fixing the problems. This is the most success they've ever tasted, at any level. And the trajectory is upward.
Next year they've got some replacements to fill. Lets see how he does next year.
Accept that moving towards excellence is a process that will take time.
And its more than beating USA. There's a body of work here.
