My fav for a reasonable priced bourbon for an Old Fashioned is Bulleit. I like the high rye mash bill for an Old Fashioned.

Captain Morgan and sprite is my drink of choice right now.

Blantons is single barrel which means your odds of getting the same one are slim. Should taste a little different everytime.

Not the biggest Blantons fan, either.

Im now searching for the cheap good tasting bourbon. The allocation game is too much trouble for the limited rewards.

In the $20-$40 range, there are good options.. I usually drink my bourbon over ice.

Four Roses Yellow Label
Four Roses Small Batch-- One of the smoothest bourbons I've ever had. Think I paid under $40 for the bottle I have.
Elijah Craig-- About $35 or cheaper pending on where you live
Knob Creek Small Batch- Under $40 pending on your location
Wild Turkey Longbranch
**Buffalo Trace-- If you can find it for reasonable. I used to buy it for $25/bottle. It's good but not $50/bottle good.
Forgot to add Maker's 46

These are ones I have in my cabinet at home or have had in the past. Most of these you can find easily in any liquor store.

Few others:
Evan Williams White Label
Smokewagon
Yellowstone
Virgin

None are the best but good for the price.

If you can find these at a reasonable price
Weller Special Reserve
Eagle Rare

Any of you Kentucky folk tried New Riff BiB 100 Proof? I'm curious about it. I can't find a place that serves it, and I've read good things, but that's critics in a magazine so who knows.

They had limits on some of them, but I was able to get two bottles of Weller. I also picked more Mitcher's Sour Mash, Buffalo Trace, Sazerac Rye and Bulleit.

How much was Buffalo Trace? Here when I find it, they're charging like $50-$60.

I paid $49.99 for 1.75L bottle.

Any serious whiskey drinkers check out Sprayberry Bottle Shop in Marietta, GA. Find them on your favorite social media platform. The owner does a lot of barrel picks and gets all kinds of obscure and rare stuff. People travel from all over to pick up bottles from Brij.

I hate to be so selfish, but I keep my beverage of choice a secret because it is so cheap and so delicious:)

Vodka and sprite w/a splash of lime juice.

Actually heard of it. Friend of mine from Istanbul would go there to find certain things.

I’ve been an ambassador since 2003. It’s a neat program. We get a different gift each year for Christmas, and I got my bottles from my barrel years ago.

I second the Four Roses Small Batch. Reasonably priced and easy to find (even in an ABC state like NC).

Tried the New Riff..

First off it was about $40.
The bottle is pretty cool.

Drinking it neat wasn't bad, but that was off the neck pour.

On ice smooth and kept smelling caramel.

I'd recommend it if you're looking a for a good BiB Bourbon.
