OT: What's Everyone Drinking?
I'm always in the market for a good bottle of something, even something non-alcoholic.

Currently I have a bottle of Laphroaig, Glenlivet 15 Yr French Oak Reserve, Knob Creek Smoked Maple Bourbon, Four Roses Small Batch, Elijah Craig, Ole Smoky Salty Watermelon whiskey, and a couple jars of homemade stuff.

I've been enjoying the KC (a gift from the wife to celebrate my womb emancipation day) and one of the jars of home brew.. Anyone else got a good whiskey they've been enjoying as of late?

Beer- As of late I've been enjoying Devil's Backbone Vienna Lager. I can't seem to get enough of it.

Non-alcoholic I've been enjoying Dr. Pepper Zero.

How about y'all?

I'm on a Kraken Black Label kick at the moment. Ginger beer and Ice in a glass and then Kraken on top. I think it's called a Dark and Stormy.

RE: OT: What's Everyone Drinking?
Now this is a thread I can appreciate. ha

I like to sample bourbons/whiskeys and have sampled/tried maybe 80-90 different ones now (Pappy is overrated IMO). My home bar currently has about 15 bottles of bourbon/whiskeys/scotches and my favorite sipper is either Old Forester Statesman or Buffalo Trace and I usually put a rock in mine. But my main cocktail is an Old Fashion where my favorite bourbon for that is Bulleit. I also throw in a Luxardo cherry and sometimes I use a cocktail smoker.

My fav non-alcoholic drink is tea that is barely sweetened. I used 1/4 cup of sugar per gallon.

I am a rum guy as well and have almost picked that up multiple times. I will on the next run.

I'm a beer guy.

My every day just getting things done everyman beer is Trader Joe's "Simpler Times" Pilsner. Nothing fancy and gets the job done. $3.99 for a six pack.

I also like the Trader Joe's JosephsBrau line. Their hefeweisen is a great $7.49 six pack. Because it's winter I'm also putting down a six pack of the Trader Joe's Winters Ride Double Bock and Sierra Nevada Celebration.

OT: What's Everyone Drinking?
For Christmas my wife gave me a bottle of Four Roses and a bottle of Basil Hayden. And I bought a bottle of mint chocolate moonshine when we were in Orange Beach for fall break.

For beer I like stouts, wheat beers, and pretty much anything that isn’t an IPA. Love stuff that’s malty and barrel aged.

It's definitely my favorite rum. Specifically the Black label over the higher proofed white label. It makes for an excellent shot if you hold it on the roof of your mouth for a few seconds.

Currently? A Founders All Day IPA.

In winter I’ll drink bourbon, usually no higher on the shelf than Maker’s, Eagle Rare or Larceny. Those are some of my favorites but am content with Evan Williams green label. I also like a White Russian in the cold months. Come summer it’s mostly beer, mostly IPA’s with some vodka tonics and mojitos around cocktail hour. Drink red wine year round, mainly California Cabs.

You should pick up a six pack of that Trader Joe's Winters Ride Double Bock. It sounds like your taste profile. They're a limited run, and only $7.49

Very malty.

I don't think you can buy it online, but you can read about it.

I drank a glass tonight with a hearty bowl of homemade beef stew and chunky bread. Perfect for the cold winter months

I’ll definitely have to see if I can find it the next time I’m near a TJ’s. We don’t have one here.

Devil’s Cut by Jim Beam has been my favorite. SunDrop is my soft drink of choice. Red stripe has become my new favorite beer, but it is only really tasty when in Jamaica, it’s just not fresh after the import process to the US

That beef stew and bread sounds great. The beer may be a bit heavy.

Anything porter or stout right now, beer wise. Virginia Beer company has a great go to called Elbow Patches.

Got a bottle of blantons for Xmas, going to sit on that a bit. But sipping on the Buffalo trace and a local one called Reverend Spirits.
