The team is a stunning 8-1. There are lots of "ugly" wins in baseball. The important thing is it's a win and looks the same in the record as a beautiful win.

Can't do much better than 4-0 on the road with a sophomore, McDermott, as the CAA Player of the Week and Tsakounis as the CAA Rookie of the Week.
Sophomore Matt McDermott was named CAA Player of the Week and freshman Zach Tsakounis earned Rookie of the Week accolades.

Holy Batman! What are they feeding these guys? Is that Harper, Betts, Judge and Scherzer in mufti secretly playing for the Tribe?
9-1, including a trouncing of UVA at their place and a 3-game road sweep of a pretty good High Point team, to start the season, coming after last season's absolute debacle, is beyond anyone's wildest expectations.
Surely losses will come but nothing will erase the best 10-game start in program history.

Tough games coming up. Campbell is 8-4 and they just lost to ODU who we play Tuesday in a walk off. ODU is 9-2 with 8 straight wins.
Absolutely fantastic start for the Tribe, especially after last season. They are playing very well.
