Let the fun begin! I will be there cheering on the Bobcats in the final game tomorrow night. I think it's fun to go and watch all of the games and see the different fans, bands, teams, etc. Plus, I got a great deal on my ticket for tomorrow. $19 and I get to watch four games!

Luckily it's at 11am. It could have been worse. Crowds don't tend to showout as well in the quarters or for a struggling team. Winner is the last MAC team with 2 squads in Cleveland.

Wow, Kent State just beat Toledo, 67-59.

Yep, lesson learned that you can't count out Kent in the MAC tourney.

And what sucks for Toledo is that this might be their final basketball game. Regular season champs aren't guaranteed NIT bids anymore, they want more room for P5 also-rans.

I mean, is it really a surprise about Toledo? They can be a good team but NIU was terrible and missing six scholarship players the last month of our season and we beat them on the road. Other top MAC teams like Ohio, Akron, BG, and Kent St (who beat us twice) had no problem with us. I was surprised Buffalo didn't beat us in their house in our last game.

I must admit that Kent State winning on Wednesday and then winning by more on Thursday was not on my bingo card.

Not surprising to us. Kind of numb. Then again Toledo beat Miami by 40 and KSU by 17 to end the regular season. WMU beating Akron and keeping KSU on the UT line while also grabbing an outright title was a foolish medal of honor. Knew it in early February that our game in Savage could be the first of a back to back. Senderoff is an awesome Xs and Os guy. If he had Toledo players they'd be remarkable I think.

Don't get me wrong, I think Toledo is a good team, just not the best in the conference. I wish NIU Basketball was as good as Toledo. I just think we are so awful, no one should have lost to us in our last month of basketball.

WMU’s season mercifully ends. 6th consecutive year with a losing record.

Akron, Kent State, Ohio and BGSU advance. MAC has to be thrilled to get its big attendance draws thru to the Semis. BGSU odds a lot better now.
