I think seeing Mills go down has made some guys start playing not to be injured where they weren't before.

GP's time had long run out. Are you sure that was Gabe the downfield call was on? Gabe is on point with his information but he is a little too laid back for the drive time slot he is in.

Don't forget Villanova. What part of playing arguably the worst half of basketball in Tiger history not playing badly? People like to ignore that half. You can't just watch something like that and not have PTSD over it. Yes it was that bad. And this isn't some hotshot Villanova team either. They suck just as badly as we do with an even worse 5 game losing streak, but a matching 11-10 record like what we'd have if we weren't so lucky for a few weeks. And we were literally schooled by them for an entire half on a neutral court.

When covid broke out and the GP show turned into one big Biden tug-fest, I stopped listening to 92.9, completely. About a week or so ago, I was listening to a Titans podcast on youtube (with all the coach replacement going on) and I saw on my scroll down feed the GP show on grindcity media.. I thought to myself, man I havent listened to this moron in 2 years, I wonder what he is talking about these days... clicked on the feed and what was he talking about? COVID... I stayed long enough to say in chat "havent listened to you for 1 second in 2 years and you are still talking about covid".

I don't know what hill you're trying to die on here, but that wasn't remotely close to the worst half of basketball in program history, no matter how many times you say it is.

We played at Charlotte in 1997 I think.. that might have been the worst 1st half that I can ever remember.

Chemistry is 100% mental. Lack of defensive effort can be cured by benching a head case or two and letting folks with heart get more minutes.

No matter what, the coaches need to keep attempting different combinations in practice until they figure this out...calling out players in press conferences isn't a solution.

More than chemistry.. I agree about not playing defense.. It's just lack of effort tbh.

Same as it's been for weeks, we need defense & rebounding - and a lot LESS substitutions & a lot more logic to the substitutions made.
