Is Lou Esposito the OC now? My gawd we suck

I just turned the game off. Can't remember the last time I gave up and didn't watch the whole game, much less turn it off in the first half. Atrocious showing on senior night. Wofford sucks. Sherwin sucks. Play calling blows. The long, slow pass to the flats that went for a pick six...Jesus H Christ that was ridiculous. Wolff running for his life cuz our O-line is swiss cheese...I can't watch this

Need a serious infusion of talent in the off-season.

You know, just because I think beating Central and Eastern would make this a successful season earlier this fall didn't mean the players should check out 11 seconds after grabbing the Victory Cannon. Yeesh.

If the O doesn't score, I'm outta here. This is about as bad as it gets, nearly as bad as that Ohio game 5 or so years ago. I have never legitimately regretted coming to a WMU game until tonight.

It is waaaaaaaaay too early to say Lance Taylor sucks.

This team has exceeded expectations to many on this forum except you who thinks that we should be playing in the MAC Championship in Taylor's first year with a huge turnover in talent.

It’s far too early to judge Taylor.

But… gonna pull back some on my “exceeds expectations” here given the last two weeks of the season. It’s like we regressed radically.

Bowling Green making us look like Kent State tonight.

It's too early to judge Taylor at this point, but this extreme lack of anything these last two games is incredibly discouraging. Hopefully we start making this look respectable.

I have tried to NOT respond on these game threads this year.

This game shows a few things.
1 - WE have no speed or talent in our WR game down field
2 - Our OC has no idea how to use what it actually has
3 - Defense can hold on until the offense keeps turning it over and over and over


Coach Taylor has his work cut out for him going forward because this is absolute trash. NIU game was trash. Learned nothing... and now absolute trash again.

It’s fine to click Undo on the exceeding expectations thoughts. We’ve taken many many steps back the past two weeks. Many.

BG is way too motivated after losing last week to Toledo

THe only thing that Big Lou has is the viloence of his aggression... which only works when he has the field position.

These last 2 weeks negate the MI MAC trophy good vibes in my mind. It’s one thing if this was September. But to have our worst MAC showings in the LAST two weeks really dampens the season, imo.

4-8 with our last two games being ugly blowouts is not that far from what we anticipated coming into the season.

NIU and this first half have been completely lost in the trenches. If we can’t figure out a way to block 4 DL, we’ve got no shot. Someone needs to work the transfer portal hard.

I feel so bad for the seniors ending their careers like this.

You watched the whole Ohio debacle 2018? SJSU? Syracuse this year?

Not saying this isn't bad but we've had our share of eggs over the last several years.

Yet we couldn’t match their motivation after getting humiliated at NIU. At home on Senior Night. Not a good look.

Time to just find some positives... and maybe thats just the fact that we can only hope they dont wear these absolutely atrocious uniforms again.
