I miss the standard and the tree.
They knew how to coach defense.
They knew how to build a defense.
They knew how to win with defense.
This is what winning with offense looks like... inconsistent.
A lot of bad teams in this mediocre conference. And we're at the bottom.

It’s a pretty clear trend if you’re willing to see the obvious.

The only obvious is we're 4-8 with a team close to a bowl bid, in a new conference, with a harder schedule, and a high school HC now with a full year under his belt. This staff has shown more promise than Callaway and McGee staffs year 1. Two off from Clark's and Vincent year was what it was. Alot of guys missed this game for injuries. On to signing day

The American sucked this year. There were 3 good teams.

This conference I think has more bowl eligible teams then the one we left

Looking at 7 possible bowl teams, 7 sitting at home were not the bottom of the bottom 7.

Don't know who I'd really get rid of after one year on defense, Sione, Patrick, Thompson, Hill, or Gilstrap. Maybe a tweak or two scheme wise

Keep the staff together from one of the worst defenses in America. Good take.
