WVU 31 UCF 21

14 to go in game.

Now 38 to 21 with 9:25 to go.

And UCF gives it over on downs.

To complete the revenge tour we need to beat all the late 2000s Big East teams at least once.

WVU and Syracuse are the last 2 teams from the era to complete the revenge tour.

UCF against late 2000s era Big East:
South Florida: UCF leads series 8-6
Connecticut: UCF leads series 6-2
Cincinnati: Series tied 4-4
Rutgers: Series tied 1-1
Louisville: Louisville leads series 1-3 (1-2 since the 2005 decision)
Pittsburgh: Pitt leads series 1-2
West Virginia: WVU leads series 0-2 (WVU has never schedule UCF after 2005 decision)
Syracuse: Syracuse leads series 0-3 (Syracuse has never scheduled UCF after 2005 decision)

I think most old big East fans would have agreed. Adding ucf and usf made all the sense in the world

No add them when Miami left the big East. I have no problem with what the XII has done

UCF, Houston and Cincy seem to lose every week these days. I think they basically play round-robin from here on out, so it will be interesting to see who wins.

We still have a home game against Oklahoma State and a visit to Texas Tech coming up, too, but we get Cincinnati at Nippert next weekend and Houston comes to Orlando during Thanksgiving Weekend (instead of USF, which feels a little weird).

I agree it feels weird. IMO, USF and UCF should still play each other, even though you would beat our brains in for the foreseeable future.

I haven't seen any UCF fans who are opposed to that idea.

All those people who said the Best AAC team would be winless with a P5 schedule were right.

There is too big of a gap between the P5 and the G5.

the G5 teams have some great players, but playing a full slate of P5 teams wears the teams down where you hit a wall about midseason, and the 4th quarters seem harder and harder when the opponents keep putting in fresh players.

Injury and depth are a huge part of that gap. Games can be won here or there, but the whole season is a bear for most teams. Last year OSU started out great then after a slew of injuries we limped into bowl eligibility.

We have not recovered from a blocked field goal loss to the Miami Redskins.

Yea, the 4th Qtr collapses are really devastating to the morale of the fan base.

It makes sense from a transition standpoint. Just don't know how you tell the fan base to be patient when they sold out every game.

This year is going to create a cooling effect on the fan base who felt betrayed by not being prepared for Big 12 play.

It's definitely not for a lack of trying. It seems like every week it's something new. 4 TOs by your starting QB is hard to overcome for anybody especially for us as our run defense has been swiss cheese all year long.
