He’s an alum so I’m not going to dance on his grave and yes I understand we are broke, but this has to be the last year of this.

With a loss next week the season is over. Hammock has destroyed the fan base with incompetent coaching and outdated philosophies

STF is not gonna do anything and our President isn't gonna do anything either so we are just stuck with Hammock.

I think we can declare 2021 a lucky season that will never happen again under Hammock. This is a veteran team that has scored 14, 11, and 11 points in last 3 games and is about to have a 4th losing season in 5 years.

Right now I do not see us winning three games this year. NIU is broke and cannot afford to buy Hammock out ... we likely are stuck with him for at least two more years. Given that is the case I hope that they at least send Eidsness packing. The D got better almost overnight with a better coordinator.

What drives me mad is that this team has a defense! How is it that the coaches can’t figure out that Rocky was a problem. The power run is not an option for this team.

So try something else. Hammock can’t do that. So…that’s how we get where we are.

If I was the coach I would be throwing different QBs out there - he’s just sitting there making bad choices.

This is going to be extremely painful the next 3 years waiting out Hammock’s contract. The constant losing is going to drag this program down to historic lows. I am very depressed about where this ends up. We can’t afford to fire anybody - STF, TH, or Freeman.

Most likely a rough year unfortunately, but we will pull off an upset against Toledo or Ohio.

I remember when we would get upset a coach did not give a **** about bowl games. That is the least of the problems for this team now. Beating Akron is a challenge enough now.

Carey was definitely more successful than Hammock. No debate.

Still I don’t forgive him for the bowl game nonsense. If he’d of won a couple bowl games & kept a competent offense, he would be universally loved. Also he left, he wasn’t fired.

University decline from around time Carey took over (not really fault of either coach) is biggest problem

Yea all I saw for most of the game was passes hitting the ground in front of the WR, or at best, so low that there is zero chance of yards after catch. And we still managed to throw a couple interceptions.

We can only hope that a QB recruit will feel like, "hell, I can definitely be the starter here".

Hammock said several times when he was hired that NIU wouldn’t have to fire him if he loses that he “quit”
