I get nervous as soon as I see a post here. So far so good for the Dragons, though I wouldn't expect it to stay that way.

Ha. I wanted to get it created in general, not just because something happened to us. And yes for nobody to hit it once the portal opened is a good starting sign, no doubt. But no team these days will go through unscathed at our level. Ill also keep updating the list at the top so when people check it the full list is together in a single piece.

I'll try not to point this out as often as I want to, but I continue to be amazed at these numbers: There are already more than 320 DI transfers.

Buckle up.

Trey Crew and Jameer Nelson are next

JNJR for Delaware is a huge loss. Ingelsby has constantly lost good players since he's been there. He did win a championship and does have some success with recruiting, but it makes you wonder how good or how likable a coach he is if so many players keep on taking off from what seems to be a really nice athletics environment down at Delaware. Maybe Drexel fans have been right about Delaware all along.

I am not sure you can read too much into the guys like Nelson who are moving on for grad school.

Believe it's the same deal with a couple of those W&M guys. They are moving on for a 5th year elsewhere.

University of Delaware is a fine institution, even if they do suck. They probably offer graduate degrees in just about everything. If he's committed to the program and liked playing for MI, he would have stayed. Seems like every top level player who has played for MI since he's been there has left early at some point. Keishana Washington could have left to play anywhere, and I'm sure that many power 6 programs would have loved to have her, but she chose to stay with her "family" at Drexel.

Delaware has added Tyler Houser, a 6-9 center from VMI.

According to Twitter posts, we've inquired about Samuel Tabe, previously at D2 Seton Hill. And Amarri Tice from Wofford.

Raekwon Horton has entered from Charleston. He was one of many cogs for them this year playing 20 minutes a game

Frankie Policelli of Stony Brook has entered. He was one of their 2 CAA caliber players. Big loss for them.

Yep. That sucks. That doesn't usually happen from our women's program so I guess we were all taken a bit off guard with this one.

we're watching dunmore in the piaa 3a title game. they have a player going to unc. my guess is kylie saw everyone else from northeastern pa going to power 5 schools like her counterpart who ditched us and transferred to penn state. i've watched enough higher level women's basketball to say she has a fair amount of work to do if she wants to more of a role player at that level. her jump shot in particular needs work.

hope she does well and also can't help but feel at least a little bitter as a fan. i feel like i sit squarely in the middle of "do what's best for you" and "show some freakin' loyalty to the school that you committed to". i do think these "student" athletes shouldn't be immune from criticism.

we'll never know the details so you can't decide who the real problem was. we were trending towards using her as more of a post player which maybe she didn't like. there were stretches where i thought she needed to be in the game and it was hard for anybody to stand out besides kei. that doesn't me you cut and run after a freshman year when there's so much time to sort things out.
