This whole season feels like a lame duck purgatory. I don't like to admit it, but it really is. Hard to be motivated regardless of the stakes or competition.

The priority was recruiting, transfer portal, and hiring staff. Bowl Prep fell by the wayside and it shows.

We looked better mid-season.

I disagree, but only on the details. We're more dynamic than under huepel, but less than under Frost. I get what Gus is trying to accomplish but he doesn't have any more wrinkles to rely on. There's nothing unexpected about what he does, which is what his entire offense relies on. I have hope, though, if the rumors for OC are true.
