Was cool when the announcers gave a shout out to the size of the MU crowd after they heard the “let’s go herd” chant.

If y'all are watching the match on TV / streaming whatever, I'm standing on our goal side in the second half in the background with the Marshall flag!

How could they waive that goal off? Every single one of our Marshall players was just yelling and asking the ref he touched the ball he touched the ball and he just stood there said nothing.

Final score 1-1, was there any explanation from the announce crew as to why that was not a goal?

The sideline judge called offsides, but in looking at the goal line angle they showed at the end of the broadcast, I feel like we were on when the ball was kicked in, and I think we got jobbed out of those 2 points in the league standings. But that happens sometimes.

WVU and Coastal finish 0-0, so the top contenders all finish with 1 point in the league table after the first leg.

Can someone post a link to the play in question? Just because someone is in an offside position doesn't mean that offside should be penalized. If the offender is not in active play and does not gain any direct advantage from being in an offside position (i.e. ricochet), or distract the goalkeeper by direct action, the offside is ignored.

Okay, thank you for that. The sideline judge did not call the offsides it was the midfield judge and he was standing right there, our player didn't even enter the box until after the goalie had touched the ball, again seeing it live horrible. Hearing your explanation even worse.

We should have won that match.

During the match on a corner kick, because I was standing right there, Milo told me these refs are horrible, so it's not just us fans.

The referee (Center) has ZERO responsibility for offside - NOT his call. He cannot see the entire defensive line. If he called offside, he is the largest horse's rectum they could have hired to officiate a soccer match. FURTHERMORE, it is IMPOSSIBLE to be offside on the first strike directly from a corner kick provided that there is no screening offensive player harassing the goal keeper.

Go back and watch it, it was the center judge, I was standing right there, the sideline judge stood there and said nothing, every single one of our players went up to the center judge to say he touched the ball he touched the ball talking about the goalie, and that guy literally just stood there and didn't say anything.

It was the midfield judge who immediately blew his whistle and waved it off.

Wait a minute... SO the ball went directly in the goal from a corner kick?!?!?!?!?!?

Incorrect, the replay clearly shows the sideline official put the flag up. The midfield official mimicked the sideline officials call, but the replay clearly showed the sideline flag went up.
