Incorrect, the replay clearly shows the sideline official put the flag up. The midfield ref mimicked the sideline officials call, but the replay clearly showed the sideline flag went up.

Okay, maybe I didn't see that, all I saw was immediately the midfield ref waving it off.

Regardless, both of them went completely silent despite almost our entire team coming out to plea.

Well, off to the next opponent. UK has a very tough defense.

For those who are unfamiliar with soccer. The official in the center is the Referee. He/She has control/responsibility and final decisions during the match. The ARs (Assistant Referees) have authority to call everything a referee can, but cannot immediately stop play except to signal the Referee with their flag. One AR has one touchline and one sideline and the other has the other touchline and side line. The AR's remain even with the defender furthest retreated toward their goal (excluding the keeper). The referee has authority to overrule or uphold the AR flag when they signal for a foul.

If I remember correctly, I don't think it was a corner kick, it was on a yellow card.

The ball rebounded off the goalie, Marshall immediately kicked the rebound in for the goal, but I didn't think our player was even in the box when the rebound happened, clearly the sideline judge thought we were offside, but again I don't know how...

It doesn't matter where our player was when the rebound happened. The question would be did he gain an advantage from being in an offside position when the moment the shot on goal occurred even if he was not in active play. I'd have to see it.

I saw the replay over and over again, to me I do not see any kind of definitive evidence that our player was passed the second defender. By every measure this was a bang bang play, and one that should have gone to a review.

Fact this one was so close and did not go to replay review is highly questionable.

Not just for the potential offsides, but for the fact it look like the UK player may have been the one who kicked the ball last, which is what I think our Marshall players were screaming about, that would have negated any offside by Marshall.
