Well, lots of people care. If you're looking at the general population hard to tell. But I did see a poll from late last week that moved 'threats to our democracy' to the top of the list of issues, so...

And I'm not doing anything....by merely posting here. That being said, I admitted right after this first began that yes, this would help trump...but I don't really much care. Right is right, and no one is above the law, even former presidents.

It would certainly be for his attorney's. I'm sure every criminal defense attorney in the world would love to see what investigators are up to before formal charges are made.

It would be both a plus and a minus for Trump.

A minus in that a wholly one sided account is put out in its rawest firm.

A big plus that is discloses witnesses, means of intelligence, and an insight into a road map of the investigation.

Legally it would be a massive win for Trump. The subject of an investigation very rarely gets that level of insight into a still ongoing investigation short of an arrest.

Let me rephrase. I meant that on its face that I didn't think it would be a win for him in the court of public opinion. Of course he wants to see the names of witnesses and the government officials and maybe even his family, employees, or other friends that may have tipped off the feds so he can tamper like he always seems to do.

Maybe off-topic, but I saw poll last week that 75% of the country thinks the country is moving in the wrong direction.

Here's the thing with both our polls. I think the people responding are just as split as the rest of the country. People on BOTH sides see "threats to our democracy" and people on both sides "think the country is moving in the wrong direction".

The same is true for Biden's approval numbers. Some of his disapproval numbers come from Democrats that don't think he has done enough. The rest from folks that don't like what he has done.

These pollsters are in the business of selling polls. If you and I both read them and go "YEAH", they win. Reality is the country is split dramatically. The polls that ask the right questions still show that.
