ORANGE-ASS PATRIOTS.

Despite my conviction that he is the absolute wrong option for our troubled nation, I have nothing but respect for Trump followers. They are the backbone of America. They deserve better than what this nation has done for them - - since probably as far back as the Eisenhower administration.

They also deserve a far better leader to follow than Donald Trump.

Good News! Trump has made up his mind
Give me Trump or DeSantis. Those are the only two that I trust right now, but I still trust Trump slightly more.

The fact that he put three justices on SCOTUS who have stood up for the Constitution and kept this country from going full throttle bananas under Biden… I’d be more than happy to vote for him again.

I vote for policies and results.

With Trump, I know what I’m getting. With DeSantis, I think I know what I’m getting.

With any Democrat win, I’m also very sure I know what I’m getting and absolutely don’t want it.

I absolutely agree the Republican candidate will be either Trump or DeSantis. And I will vote for either one.

I'm actually MORE UNSURE on the Dem candidate. Biden* will be flushed before MLB starts in 2023 and Harris will step aside after finishing Biden*'s term. Those who keep mentioning Michelle Obama could very well be right.

That's one way to look at it. And I can't say you're wrong because you're not. However, another way to look at it is this: He had the election stolen from him, which is true, but nobody on the right wants to do anything about it because they'll be seen as "usurping the Constitution" when the Constitution provides a remedy for things like this.

Maybe AM isn't old enough to remember the Reagan years. I'm trying to imagine a POTUS in the years between him and Trump who was better for the country than Trump and can't.
The Clinton's started the downfall of decency in this country ! They were the ones doing the shady behind the scenes dealings and those that got in their way were permanently dealt with. Obama continued the downslide even farther and still pulls Biden's strings today .

I agree, but I have no proof. It was time for a change in 2016 when Trump beat Hillary. And it is time for a change now in the house and senate.

Liz Cheney will be unemployed before these banana republic hearings with no rules of evidence wrap up.

I still could see it being Trump/DeSantis with Trump bowing out right after the midterms and giving DeSantis the gig with 2 re-elections possible for a candidate who will still be in his mid-40s with Trump choosing the next VP whom I would hope would be Tim Scott.

I think Scott would be a great VP candidate. But I'm not sure about DeSantis, he's a politician, not a businessman.

You obviously know nothing about Ron DeSantis' bio. He graduated at the top of his class everywhere he went and was a JAG while getting his JD at Harvard. Then he was assigned to SEAL Team one in Fallujah. He's still a Navy Reservist. He has done a lot. He's only been a politician since 2012.

I fully believe DeSantis is unbeatable in 2024 as long as he does nothing to piss off independent voters. Those voters are the key to winning. The Trump base will fall in line and vote for DeSantis. Im not at this point sold on Scott. The more I hear from him..the less I like him. He is a bit too far right for my taste..but..its early....He may make me change my mind.07-coffee3

DeSantis does not have the money to take on and defeat the swamp. He needs Trump in there first to take a daisy cutter to the area.

THEN DeSantis will be able to do a good job. Otherwise he will simply be mired down.
