Yea they were both there . More concerned with White and zero mention of him in the postgame or coaches corner

I don't know, but usually when a player is left home, it involves breaking team rules.

Glad to see Thomas get some run today!
If Tra not there, would love to see Samb get some minutes- may be prudent against Drake who has quality size.

I'm of course hoping that's all it is. But they have not always given reasons why players have been left home. They still have yet to say why coach Barefoot disappeared for awhile when teams were dealing with covid.

It was for personal reasons. She wasn’t a successful coach here, but I hope that time away got her the help she needed to be successful in life. I’m not going to put her business out there, but hopefully that time away helped her deal.

1pm on a Monday not very kind to the working folk. I guess you can’t draw any less fans than they already did today

Every tournament that isn't the NCAA should follow the NIT format and play games at the lowest seeds home court. Guaranteed to get a better turnout and atmosphere than a neutral court location where most people won't even know who the teams are. But I guess it's a made for TV tournament anyhow, so fans aren't required.

One site for 16 teams is a lot.more feasible at this level. The other tier 3 tournament The Basketball Classic has turned into a disaster

Attendance would more than pay for travel I’d think

I know what the issue was. And I agree it was personal and should stay that way. Kudos to the school, and especially the athletic department, for keeping it that way.

Thomas scored some buckets but his real impact is on defense. Just a complete disruptor out there. Gets hands on balls constantly, stays in front of his man, and has the athleticism to block shots. But one thing I really noticed is his communication with his teammates on defense. He's going to be a leader on this team and he was directing them to cover open guys and cutters when he was out there. And yes, he's an energy guy and it causes everyone around him to level up their energy as well.
