RE: Sunshine Protection Act
If we stayed on regular time with no change I’d be experiencing 5am sunrises and 7pm sunsets in the summer. I do not care for regular time because the winter months are 7am sunrise and 5pm sunsets. Not a fan of having no daylight after work

Now, if we stay Daylights savings year round it would at least give me til six before sunset but folks don’t like the kids going school in the dark with 8am sunrise. Catch 22. At least currently we are only on regular time 5 months.

Not a fan of pitch black mornings getting up in spring and fall.

Unfortunately, sounds like the House is unlikely to get this done and we'll continue to be stuck with spring forward/fall back for now -

That's been a great part about living in Arizona. No time changes. It's nonsense.

We used to have a remote worker that lived in Arizona. Because he worked in our call center and our hours were 8-5CST he had a hell of time with his personal schedule. I could never keep up with what time it was were he was between the time zones and lack of DST.

It seems ridiculous that Congress can't even find a simple way to do something good for the American people that almost everyone agrees on. They're too busy trying to add this/that to the bills that they always muck it up. Then they wonder why they have like a 12% approval rating.

If the rest of us had such low approval numbers in our jobs, we'd be asking for spare change at a stoplight.

I do much better on standard time. Something about DST that doesn't work for me.

The day we gain an hour is great, but that day that we lose an hour is brutal.

well then care about the other kids in the 904. Especially the ones that refuse to put their lights on.

Personally I like Daylight Savings Time. Leave it alone.

No reason for the feds to get involved and end up spending more tax dollars.
