(As anyone who's trying to commit voter fraud, regardless of party affiliation. Just like Maxine Waters not living in the district she's supposed to be serving. That should be considered fraudulent as well.)
Second, and this is said with all due respect, Gamenole, your experience is still quite different than mine. I mean I've never lived in an apartment until after I moved out of my parents' house and got married. And if I had been born a couple months later, my family would've already been moved out of that trailer park to where I grew up anyway. So I don't consider myself a native of Baytown; just someone who was born there.
But anyway, every elected official should actually reside in their respective districts, states, what have you, no matter what party they belong to. Anybody who doesn't do so should be ousted and prosecuted for election fraud.

Actually, living in the district is not a requirement. The Constitution requires that representatives live in the state, but has no requirement regarding district. I suppose states have the right to require living in the district as a matter of state law, but I don't know if any do.
Well, that should definitely change. We need to have an amendment that requires primary residence in the district they represent.

I don’t disagree necessarily, but things change. “My” Rep., who I loathe and is beyond useless other than being a Fransicko Nan patsy, lives about 10-12 miles from us. Not far at all wife goes by her area each day heading to her practice.

Then this year we had redistricting. Va-07 and others were actually cleaned up a bit thanks to the new Admin and State House. We’re now in Va-01, and absent Abby’s new district as Va-07, is gonna have her traveling to areas of the State she may have never been to before.

And it’s a more reddish district as well now.
I hope she loses, and loses badly. But, at least we’re rid of her.

(I mean I get what you're saying and all, but I just have to point out that we were in the process of moving onto a piece of property that we had bought when I was born. I don't know if y'all were in the process of moving into the apartment you mentioned when you were born. If that was the case, then yeah, your story's more similar to mine than I originally thought. lol)

FYI - I don't believe it's illegal to just be "registered" to vote in more than one state, as you're not required to tell the state you may have moved from that you moved and are now registered in another state. Eventually, they'll have you removed when they update their rolls.

Wow - there are far worse "crimes" going on in congress every single day.

If the Spy-effer is not in any trouble for what he did, some guy who failed to cancel his voter registration card should not have to worry about the law showing up at his door step.

I will grant you that if Meadows tried to actually vote more than once, you may have a legit concern... let's start there instead. Where did he cast his vote; and is he legally registered there? If he did not vote anyplace else.... move on.
