Good showing. It ties the 3.2M that watched the UAB-BYU game.

BYU/UAB had 2 great things going for it:

1) It was on ABC

2) The NFL Game it was suppose to go against that Saturday afternoon was postponed to Monday because of Covid..so the Independence Bowl ended up being the lone game on broadcast TV.

UCF has about 2 million students, anyone can get in. Thats gotta help ratings.

Ah...someone who's team is not going bowling AGAIN tries to be cute.

UCF's most recent Freshmen Application/Acceptance rate was 34%

PS. Suggestion: Stick to talking about sports on a sports message board...as everyone knows Tulane is a fine Private University, which has a different mission than most Public Universities.

Other than NFL games, the @UAB_FB
v. BYU game was the most watched sporting event of the weekend with an average of 3.2 million people. Locally, a 13 Rating and 25 Share on @abc3340

That's two games "no one cares about"

Fact: Fear of going up vs UAB on TV forced NFL to DuCK to Monday using Covid excuse.

I fired a Florida grad once. Never met a UCF grad but I don't work in the fast food or janitorial services fields.

Lol, Shere these are some funny but weak (by your standards) trolls. Thanks for the laughs though. I've come to expect more sophisticated trolling from you. 04-cheers

It was a great game to watch. It was obvious both sides were really into it. My main takeaway is non-NY6 bowls need to try to setup more regional/rivalry matchups. Unfortunately, conference tie-ins kind of limit how often that can be done.

While that would be ideal...with some bowl games far out west (WVU played in a baseball stadium last night in Phoenix) and almost no bowls played up north...you can't have that many regional bowls where both visiting fan bases can easily drive to.

NOTE: Now the Charlotte Mayo bowl with UNC vs South Carolina is a very good "local" regional matchup...with both schools just 2-3 hrs away and Charlotte the biggest city with tons of alumni of both schools.

clt adds that Charlotte is closer to Carolina than UNC CHeat

What was Tulane's Bowl TV Rating again this year?

PS. Do ya'll still bring up and talk about the 1932 Rose Bowl loss that helped fund Fogelman Arena?
