I hope the ranked University of Houston Cougars can keep their motivation up facing a 6-6 team from a regional conference when they had a shot at the NY6.

RE: BOwls?
Official line up is

Cincy vs Bama
Houston vs Auburn
UCF vs Florida
SMU vs Virginia
ECU vs BC
Tulsa vs ODU
Memphis vs Hawaii

interesting fact every opponent except bama only has 6 wins

other g5 bowls-
utah stat (mwc champ) vs Oregon st --- the only other p5/g5 matchup besides air force vs ul
UTSA vs SDSU
Boise vs Central Michigan
BYU vs UAB -- uab, an indy reward for a top 13 finish?

uab and utsa, have chance to make a very strong aac 2.0 impression..

I wasn't doubting - we were posting at the same time. Check the timestamps.

In fact, I thought you were responding to me until I looked again at what order they appeared.

Good Bowl game for UCF. Close by and good shot to take UF down.

RE: BOwls?
My early thoughts on the AAC bowl assignments:
1. I think Houston defeats Auburn in the Birmingham Bowl to properly indoctrinate that new stadium into bowl hosting.
2. UCF doesn't need much motivation to get ready to play Florida, LOL. The Knights could blow the Gators out in the Gasparilla Bowl.
3. Tulsa should TCB against ODU in the Myrtle Beach Bowl.
4. ECU vs BC in the Military Bowl should be a good game; I hope the weather is reasonable.
5. SMU vs VA in the Fenway Bowl will likewise be a good game; weather will likely be a b1tch 2 days before NY Eve.
6. MEMPHIS vs Hawaii out in the Hawai'i Bowl will be interesting but at least warm weather. There are a few key injuries for MEMPHIS but Hawaii has starters hitting the transfer portal. I think the TIGERS win a close one. I just hope the officials come from the PAC12 for this game; I've heard local officials tend to lean to their local team a bit much.

Should make for a great home field advantage for ECU considering BC will have about 12 fans there.

Army isn't IN a non-contract-bowl conference, but they sure are non-Power, and they have Missouri in the Armed Forces Bowl in addition to Air Force getting Louisville in the First Responders.

Those should get good attendance and viewership...and yet, I think the two teams combined for 32,000 at Globe Life in November.

UAB is likely to be murdered. I would favor UTSA over SDSU by a TD or so.

These games/matchups are much better than I expected. It's a good slate and I'm looking forward to watching them. Go AAC teams!

This is hands down the best slate of bowl games this conference has ever had. We can cry about woulda, coulda, shoulda if UCF/UC/UH stayed in conference, but this year AAC 1.0 can do what it's never done before......prove #P6 by convincingly winning it's bowl season. LETS GO BOYS! COGS

RE: BOwls?
i honestly like the bowl matchups.

ill be watching the UTSA vs SDSU and the BYU and UAB ones especially. i would love for UTSA to curb stomp SDSU to give that AAC 2.0 some good vibes for year 23'.
