The fans didn't like logical discussion of what could happen and we are seeing the result of that. One thing I'm baffled by is Willis' decision making. If this guy is a first round draft pick I'd be shocked at this point. He isn't being pressured a ton and is just making terrible reads.
Of course we saw Brice look terrible against Louisiana as well. Maybe there is some difficulty in picking up which zone call Louisiana is going to run, if they mix it up. I don't know enough to have an informed opinion of what Louisiana does in their defensive play calling.
Eric you tried to tell ‘em all week didn’t ya? Another time eating drive to end the game. I was very worried about this game. I’m glad we were able to win convincingly.
They gon' learn today. It's funny that they tried to use the fact that I follow App State as a reason why my logic was unreasonable.
One thing I didn't expect was Willis to look so bad. This is the 3rd time I've watched them and I haven't been impressed. If he's a 1st round pick it's because there aren't many quarterbacks in the draft. He's a 3rd to 5th round guy in most drafts. Hell, I'd take Grayson McCall before I'd take Willis.
Me too, McCall better than Willis, of what I've seen.

Which stats? 9-1 on 9 game win streak vs 7-3 records. Or should we compare SOS of the two teams? What about ranked I. AP and Coaches poll vs unranked. I hope you not putting all your eggs into the margin of victory basket.

I think that would put too many players on the field. We already are running on fumes here a Jerry Jr and Pool Boy combo wouldn’t add much to the quality of play.
Just wait. Your 10 minute 4th quarter beat down is coming. I said this on the C-USA board and no one believed me but I really think Napier has it down to a science. Everyone they have played, except for Texas, is run down by the 4th no matter how much depth they have.
I'll also give Louisiana a pass on the Texas game. No one knew what Texas was going to look like under Sarkisian and I think the end result of that game was due to Texas breaking in a new staff. If the game were played again j think Louisiana may win.
Just want to give a shout out to this eerily accurate prediction.

I watched him in the ULM game too. In both games he was almost certainly the most athletic guy on the field, but he made a lot of poor decisions and wasn’t effective passing. In all fairness to him though it sure seemed like his receivers weren’t giving him many options.
I think he is too big, fast, and athletic to not get picked up in the Draft even if they draft him to play another position.

That’s pretty funny. ULL has one played one team with a winning record (App) I’ve watched 3 ULL games this year and if you guys think you’re going to blow this Liberty away you’re going to be very disappointed. Freeze does a great job in games like this. We’re coming off a bye week so he’ll have them ready to play. Should be a great game.

How many times have you guys seen a 1st and goal for a team on the 2 yd line, only to see it end up having to punt at 44 yd line? That was pretty wild, lol.
But then again, that’s not as bad as when laturd was 3rd and goal, from their own 7 yard line. And to think, that play now would have to considered to be part of their golden years!
