Of course I think Alec Baldwin is as big of an a$$ as the next guy, but to say that HE killed that person is a bit much.

It was an accident, but he still killed her. A person can kill another person and it still be an accident. Happens everyday.

No doubt Alec Baldwin is a terrible human being. He’s said and done things most normal people find appalling. With that being said, to call this tragic incident anything but an accident is doing exactly what someone with the beliefs of Alec Baldwin would do.

If we look at every event through the lens of our personal political opinion we will lose our humanity. We will make ourselves into exactly what those we stand against are. Hateful and triggered

How the hell is a movie set gun prop loaded with real bullets?

How in the hell does this happen? I'll tell you how. In almost every movie where a gun is used the actor handling it has NO IDEA how to handle a weapon or what protocol to follow when handling one - with the exception of Keanu Reeves who actually participates in 3 gun competitions. Someone, likely more than one someone, needs to be charged with criminal negligence at the very least.

You'd think they'd have the forethought to either use fake guns incapable of firing or ensuring that at least three people check the loads in the gun, the prop master, the actual shooter handling the weapon and maybe the director.

Or here's an idea, stop making movies where weapons are used and then complaining about the "epidemic of gun violence".

it wasn't a real bullet. Even blanks have a discharge- In order to make that gunshot sound it is packed with gun powder and a packing substance - it used to be a compacted cotton-like substance, I don't know what they use nowadays.... but when you discharge the weapon that packing often comes out in whole rather than disintegrate.

I believe that is what killed Brandon Lee as well - packing discharge from a movie set gun at very close range.

One thing I do know is that this will somehow become a new poster child for gun control cries...

I haven’t yet read the story, but why was he shooting at the cinematographer and director? Was that in the script?

I have no use for Alex Baldwin but this was a terrible accident. Not the 1st time a prop gun has fired a projectile and killed someone. This is horrible for all parties.

Terrible for those shot and their families, just awful.

Baldwin is a despicable piece of crap so i dont care how he feels, and no im not talking about his political views... this is karma for him.
