Is going back to 12 justifiable?

I don’t think there are 4 good candidates in the East for the AAC, so if the league thinks Big12 expansion is done then if we are only adding from the East just add two. If the league thinks it may lose more then I could see going to 12.
If we are staying East and Army is still a no go then I think it will be
UAB and Rice to go to 10
11 and 12 depends on who the league thinks it may lose if there is more expansion

When was the last time UAB or Rice won a FB conference championship, and reended the season ranked in the top 25? This has to be all about securing the 6th slot in the expanded CFP. Rice & UAB but especially Rice do nothing to help the AAC get that slot.
