They both deserve it, it would be really cool if we could both keep them around.

Great for the conference for both to hang around and hopefully the new coaching hires will help strengthen the conference even more....we need to build on this year with OOC wins next year. Cajuns open up with Texas next year and I like our chances with what we have returning

I hope they pull it off. I love it when huge P5 programs get punched in the mouth.

I thought Napier was already making $850K in salary without bonuses and they had made changes to that after last year and they had the highest assistant pool as well at close to $2M.

I was also thinking that there just might be a bump this year as well following the USC meeting in Atlanta with him not taking that job.

He will be getting a raise from $850, not sure if they will get to the number I was told but it’s significant, if they get halfway to the number it’s significant.

These teams having this type of year, and retaining coaches has to impact season ticket sales, which should be a good thing.

According to this (LINK) Napier makes $1,005,000. If Chadwell topped this, that's impressive

That would've been a lot funnier if I was drinking my usual water instead of hot tea. Thanks a lot!

I think that’s with reached incentives, last I knew his base was $850k.

That's what I know, $850 base with incentives reaches $1m and change.

Napiers first contract that I see referenced was in 2018, with a first amendment in 2019 (extending to 2023) and another amendment in January of 2020 (extending to 2025). It wouldn't surprised me if there was another in January 2021.

Looking at his contract amount signed in January of 2020, for the 2019 year end his salary, payables, bonuses and annuity would have been just under $1M. The contract he signed in January has more incentives and a bit more salary but a number of possible bonuses are still out there to pick up.
