We've been sure for quite some time now that his not, in fact anywhere close to being conservative.

But if this goes on for 6-8 weeks, there are going to be a lot of people with no money.

I'm for it and UBI in general. Have the dems brought something to the floor in the House yet?

If push comes to shove we'll have to take our chances and go back to normal activities. We can't let the economy tank because we're scared. the party offering working America, those living pay check to pay check, or a couple pay checks. A helping hand will be the next president . Too bad for Sanders the democrats are still planning on voting during this. If they postponed till after this I have a feeling there's going to be a ton of blue collar Americans...pissed off. Because when you get down to it those are the people that will hurt the most in this. Putting off the gas or electric bill off a month does nothing. It still will need paying.

Going to be some bitter people, not only those hurting for money. Also those that look at their self as the ones paying it back

Something will have to be done. I work in restaurant point of sales systems. Nashville today closed all bars and restaurants with more than 50% of sales in food cut their occupancy by 50% or max 100 whichever is less.

This is going to close down a lot of smaller restaurants. The big honky tonks downtown can weather the storm, but their staff will not.

Now we know who is lobbying to be Bernie's Secretary of the Treasury should the "social democrat" win the nomination to run for President.

Bingo. This whole thing is creating a new generation of FDR Dems. We’re looking at a demon stranglehold on politics for a couple decades.

Pretty sure a LOT of these ideas, if not plans are in the works now. Some are a payroll tax relief, only helps if you pull a regular check, some are looking at increased $$$'s in the pipeline for un or underemployment increases, other ideas are being thrown around, just how to go about it and NOT have it end up as a huge give away to the very savvy Grifter-class.

Not to get all lectury, but this should really serve as a bit of a jolt or wake up call to folks out there- I know it's tough. I know it may take a lot of hard work, discipline, passing on little things and whatever else- But you GOTTA have a little somethin' somethin' stashed away.

You CAN'T make your plan to rely on BIG Government to bail you out in these situations. Their a HUGE bloated, largely unmovable bureaucracy. They don't respond nimbly to anything.

Plus, weigh down the bureaucracy with those telling them what to do asss-deep in politics and unwilling to work well with each other and you're really putting your faith in all the WRONG people and institutions.

Put away 10 bucks a week. Don't eat out, waste 5 bucks a day on Starbucks, fix the car, don't buy a new one. 10 bucks a week, in a year you have $500. Put away more when you can, save the birthday or Christmas checks instead of running right out to shop with it. Buy generics. Cut down on needless travel. Watch NetFlix instead racing off for the newest Marvel when it's released. *Ahem, drink water from the tap or put a pitcher in the fridge, NOT bottled.

There are ways. We've done it for centuries. Hell, go to Southern States and buy some seed packs for 15 Cents each. Make some vegetable pots for the backyard or patio/deck.

There are ways. If your plan is to rely on Government in a sudden jolt of crisis, ANY crisis, you have NO plan at all.

Good luck out there, it's gonna be bumpy.

There will definitely be a domino effect. States collect nice revenue off of sales tax from restaurants too so they have an incentive to keep them open.

Hourly People who arent getting paid due to no work opportunities are going to be hit hard after missing a paycheck considering most Americans dont have much savings for a time like this

Yea, increased Federal funding of abortions by lifting parts of the Hyde amendment.

IOW's only things that will keep anything worthwhile from being passed.

It's intentional, poison pilling it, trying to use this to wreck the economy so hopefully they can sell it as Trumps fault. Pretty simple, they can't govern.

He has a history of supporting radleft policies while gov:
1. Abortions for minors without parental consent
2. Gay marriage
3. RomneyCare
