Not really, SMU is a private school that has had decades of losing.

Remember, these are ANNOUNCED attendance figures.

Also, SMU's Ford Stadium's capacity is 32,000 while ECU's newly renovated stadium seats just shy of 51,000.

The fact of faulty scanning is undisputed. Therefore, the complaint is legitimate because it understates attendance. The complaint is directed against the City of Memphis for their failure to fix the issue.

A sell out like the Tiger victory over SMU should not be necessary to report the correct attendance.

Announced attendance is actually tickets distributed.......sold or given away. Schools give away lots of tickets to recruits, families etc. That should be an an absolute known figure. So what does scanning tickets at the stadium have to do with it?

That sentence is factually incorrect. Different schools DECIDE what method they will use to ANNOUNCE. I believe some fellow USF fans can attest???

It was a joke about how teams game "announced" attendance. Relax a bit.

They're all there. Most are just dressed as chairs. Same as UCONN Football and Houston Basketball.

Gee I wonder why these pictures never show the endzones or the home teams side. Oh yeah, because it wouldn't fit the narrative.

Still a dick move is a Dick move. Stay classy UC fans.

I went to a Memphis v Tulane there back in the day. There were maybe 500 Memphis fans and 3 Tulane fans. I bought a cheap ticket on the street and sat in the first row on the 50. It was a odd feeling but I was also partying.
