RE: Rate the American Week 5
Its interesting to note that SMU does not have either UCF or Cincy on the schedule this year although if they keep winning that would likely be resolved in the AAC Championship game. I think SMU is the only West contender with neither UCF or Cincy on the schedule

RE: Rate the American Week 5
I like to keep the rankings based on what has happened on the field and not the eye test (the eye test is what is wrong with college football).
1. SMU 5-0 (1-0)
2. Memphis 4-0 (1-0)
3. UCF 4-1 (1-0)
4. Tulane 3-1 (1-0)
5. Navy 2-1 (1-1)
T6. Cincinnati 3-1 (0-0)
T6. Temple 3-1 (0-0)
8. Tulsa 2-2 (0-0)
9. ECU 3-2 (0-1)
10. Houston 2-3 (0-1)
T11. UConn 1-3 (0-1)
T11. USF 1-3 (0-1)
