Our class includes blueshirts that have already played this season including our stud CB Jerry Jacobs. We just picked up a new commitment from a 6’1 340 lb DT who will blueshift and play in 2019, but will count towards the 2020 class.

Anybody have any sound clips or videos of coaches being displeased on signing day?
Southern didn’t have one decommit in this class. Had every recruit sign early except 3 commits. Lunsford is a great recruiter, who’s evaluation I trust

Man, that is a very dicey proposition right there.
It's OK to reload like that once a cycle, but multiple years?
When the bottom falls out, it is not going to be pretty.
We've seen this story. Might want to go ahead and start the mourning process.
I think I'll wait. Anderson's methods of recruiting are unorthodox for sure . . . and I'll admit there is some risk. But man the SBC player of the year, Defensive POY, and Newcomer of the Year were all JUCO transfers @ stAte. If that is what it takes to get difference making talent to stAte . . . maybe it is worth the risk.
It should be noted that stAte signed zero players from Arkansas and Memphis Metro area today.
It should also be noted that two guys technically in this class(blue shirts), Jerry Jacobs and Forrest Merrill, are Juco guys that showed up this fall, and made all SBC teams at some level in 2018, and will have 2 more years to play.
If Anderson keeps getting Juco guys that are POY/All-SBC caliber and/or have 3 years @ stAte . . . I'm not sure that risk/reward profile isn't better than the HS recruits stAte can typically recruit.
It seems like he is being able to maintain the culture while doing this . . . what specifically about cycling through JUCO players at Troy caused the wheels to fall off?
Speaking of roster monkey business . . .
Playing FR/dinged up players 4 games or fewer to maintain the redshirt . . . I guess everyone is doing it?

Yes - everyone is doing it.

Perhaps getting up to 4 games of experience for redshirting freshmen and not having to burn a year helps offset the "juco problem", if only slightly.

It's also supposed to offset the large number of players who are choosing to skip bowl games to prepare for the NFL Draft, and the group of G5 starters who decide to transfer up to a P5 thanks to the looser transfer restrictions.
Although its worth noting a fair number of our redshirts are JUCO guys
