I agree. He is the best coach in the Belt. We are hoping here Lunsford can take that honor in the next couple years

That’s cute.

App just hasn’t had to deal with this like others have. Satt hired Sexton after last year. He wantsa P5 job and he is about to land one itseems

Also gives Doug Gillan 3 days to put together an offer to keep him around.

Give Satterfield credit for being smarter than to stay in a G-5 conference when he has a shot at a P-5. C'mon.

I think his time will be better spent getting together his short list for interviews.

If Satt is not gone by Monday morning its because Louisville decided to go in a different direction.

I wonder if Houston at JMU-UNCC abrupt turn from "about to be announced", to "offered but didn't accept" has anything to do with this...

The early signing date just makes this craziness worse because schools want new coaches in place ASAP. Louisville and Ga Tech will have new coaches within the next week

Wait, wut?

Timmy H is an App alum.

If it does happen someone needs to register NYMountaineer on Yosef’s cabin for the lulz

Maybe Satt can give back and donate some cash to App because it sounds like he will get an offer come Sunday. Winning the first Sun Belt Championship game would be a great way to go out.

IF this does happen someone will inherit the best team in the Sun Belt. It's actually a good time for a change to happen if it has to happen.

Who knows if this is related, but how funny would it be to steal their pick for a new coach away at the last second?

Not gonna lie, we all saw it coming, but damn do I feel betrayed. How is any G5 team supposed to build a quality program if they lose their coaching staff every 3-5 years? It's just bull****, and honestly something needs to be done.

App hasn't lost a coach to another team since 1988. Welcome to reality.
