Wouldn't call it the best win.. we simply exposed an overly inflated Appy.

We've moved on.. still bigger games ahead.

RE: Georgia Southern @ ULM Game Thread
Looking at ULM's schedule thus far - they started the season strong, then lost a couple of games they probably should lose - Texas A&M, Ole Miss. The final score at Troy was close, but it looks like most of the scoring was late in a comeback effort. The only real anomaly is that Georgia State game. Had they won that one, they would be sitting at 5-3 and in command of the west.

I know ULM fans have said it depends on which Evans shows up, so hopefully the GS defense cane come out early and get a few stops this week to disrupt him from getting a rhythm established.

This game is a cake walk. Tell your boys that there is nothing to worry about. As a matter of fact, they should already be looking at Troy film in preparation for that game because that will decide you winning the East and hosting the championship game. Stay up late on Friday. I will see if I can arrange some Ubers to get your starters out for a few beers. Who cares about curfews! That's just the Man keeping you down. They are old and don't know about fun....go on, live a little!! 04-cheers04-cheers03-lmfao03-lmfao

Don't mis-underestimate the Troy game. In the second half Troy failed to score and didn't get 100 yards of offense while ULM scored three TD's and lost the ball twice in the red zone. Warhawks came close to tying or possibly winning the game in that comeback effort

Texas State...except for two drives our offense didn't show up but thank goodness for our defense being at the game. As for the Georgia State game, I don't think ULM actually made the trip to Atlanta....

Texas state has an underrated defense. Their offense is hot garbage (at least it was when GS played them, thank goodness) but they do have a lot of potential with Vitt at QB. If they can give him some time to set his feet and throw, they could be dangerous. I expect them to pull a few upsets before the season is over.

With help...we will need two or three above us to lose. We need to just keep winning and the accolades will come.

This is absolutely a trap game for us. Big win at home, big game coming up.... we can't let ULM sneak up on us on the road.

To me this is a big test for our staff's ability to keep these kids focused.

With all the talk of this being a trap game.... do we not think the players think that as well? Granted, it looks to be a close game based off historic trends, but the win last week was just another check..... the goal isn't to beat App.... It is to win the Sun Belt... we come in expecting a dog fight and that is exactly what ULM will get.

It is the Sun Belt a few bad breaks and anyone mid pack up can beat each other. The conference as a whole has gotten better overall but no team has separated significantly like Boise did from conference yet.

ULM has always been a tough game even when we were rolling. Just hope we get out early.
