RE: USA @ ASU
I still remember the 2014 game and the USA QB (Bridge I believe) couldn't miss that night. I certainly do not want to see a repeat this weekend. Hopefully the App defense comes to play as I really don't want to get in a shootout with the Jags.

I second this

Have y'all been to Artisanal? I went earlier in the summer and it absolutely blows the Gamekeeper out of the water. Highly recommend it.

Art is anal?

Yes.
It's good but nothing unique you cant find in Charlotte/ Raleigh/Greensboro/Winston/ Atlanta.
Gamekeeper is one of a kind...Emu, Elk, Bison, ostrich, Pheasant and my fave Rabbit/rattlesnake sausage.

There is a difference between shortening a word, and adding a consonant/sometimes vowel.

Neither is the preferred designation therefore equal. Lets not turn this into a" Louisiana name calling" debate.

Who did it first? Perhaps the 2nd offender was retaliating?

I def. Remember the first game against USA cause I was thinking about how much bigger their players looked then ours at that time and was thinking for that moment the team was in over its head

Maybe the biggest margin of victory . . . but we know this was the most painful!

Arkansas State had a lot more talent back then.

APP by 30.

I'll take that bet. You won't make it. Troll.

You’ll get your chance to get your tail whoop in a couple weeks. Wait in line.

I had that same thought about their length and speed. I wouldn't say that I thought we were in over our heads, but that it might take an extra season or two to catch up with the conference than I had previously thought.

That's what I meant, i felt that our team just didn't match up and that it would indeed take a couple years to build a similar team.

RE: USA @ ASU
In 2014 App State head coach Scott Satterfield was in year 1 of FBS. App State started 1-3. Among the losses were a big loss to a P5 team and a close loss to a CUSA team. App went into game 5 against a South Alabama team that looked to be a better and lost 47-21. However, App State would end the season on a 6 game winning streak. App State's winning ways would continue, and after starting with a 1-5 record in 2014, they've followed that record with a 36-9 record (80%).

In 2018 USA head coach Steve Campbell is in year 1 of FBS. USA has started 1-3. Among USA's losses is a big loss to a P5 team and a close loss to a CUSA team. USA goes into game 5 against an App State team that looks to be a better team.

This year's Jags remind me a bit of the Mountaineers in 2014. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out for the Jags.

This will be a much closer game than the majority of App fans believe. USA has always had good athletes, they've just lacked consistency. I'm expecting a 35-30 type game.

I tend to agree. I expect this to be a fight. I honestly this the Vegas spread on this game is insane! I HOPE it's right, but I'm not expecting it to be that one sided.
