RE: Neal Brown or Scott Satterfield?
I would take Brown because he turned the team around that had really struggled and did it quickly. App St's version of struggling is not the same as everyone else. Which isn't a slight at App St. I only wish bad years at TXST were the same as bad years at App St.

I picked Sat for the same reason. App moved from FCS to FBS and made the move fairly seemlessly. That’s more impressive to me than rejuvenating a successful FBS program. No slight at Brown though, they’re both really good coaches who will be making a lot of money soon.

A better poll would have been which one will leave first at the end of this year.

But it’s near misses most all last season over inferior programs, loss to Umass and lost to Liberty in one of his first seasons.
Fun fact: The week after that loss to Liberty, App beat Troy 53-14 in Troy.
Fun fact:
Brown wasn’t coach for that one
Fun fact: Doesn’t matter. Satt was, and a different coach may have spent the week heading into that game typing his resume. Instead, after a 1-5 start, he got App to be technically bowl eligible. Which we have been all four years. Unprecedented.
Congrats on beating a Late Blakeney Troy team. It’s not hard to do ask Abilene Christian university.
You can't use the Liberty loss, in a transitional year, to demonstrate why Satterfield isn't as good as Brown and then get upset when App fans correctly point out App dominating Troy, Arkansas State, and ULL in that same season.

At the end of the day they are both great. They both develop players and play to their strengths instead of trying to force players into a system.

He was coach when he lost to Liberty. Y’all would be upset if you lost to Liberty even if you were in FCS with them. They are a average FCS team
I wasn’t upset about App dominating us in 2015. Brown wasn’t there. Wasn’t browns loss that’s all I was pointing out.

Nick Saban lost to ULM in his first year at Alabama.

I need to see if Satt can keep his defense from taking a huge step back this year without Nate Woody before I make a final decision.

Two outstanding coaches. I couldn't care less how others vote. I'm a total homer and therefore it's Satt all the way for me. I would expect Troy fans to feel the same about Brown. I'm looking forward to the match up this year! I hope both teams stay healthy so that we have a real battle without excuses.

LSU win tips the scales for me for Brown. Both are good coaches and will be getting 1M+ job offers at the end of the year if they continue winning at the pace they are.
