I voted Troy as the favorite in the east. Both Troy and App lose key members, but Troy’s defense should be enough to carry them.

There are two obvious, likely games and the others are just hopes, prayers and wishful thinking.

I'm willing to admit that if I had to pick the division champs to win a million dollars it would be hard to pick Southern.

But if one was to pick one of Texas State, GS, and Coastal and get a million bucks if that team reached bowl eligibility, I think we know who most would pick, especially App fans, even if they won't admit it.

Too many people are sleeping on ULM. Troy may be favored in Game 4 vs ULM, but they shouldn't be. I think Troy will end up being a better team, but that early in the season with everything ULM has coming back, Troy trying to find offensive leadership, and the game being in Monroe, my confidence in winning that game isn't very high.

If they beat Troy, they may beat every else on their schedule. Their defense will be improved and their offense will be just as nasty as last year.

I thought everyone was sleeping on ULM last year too. That was the conference game that scared me the most preseason...and well we saw how that turned out

ULM is definitely under-represented. Beating stAte in Jonesboro is doubtful, but definitely possible . . .

it isn't like there is no precedence for this happening though. Ark State in 2009 was a 4 win team. Next year, 10 win team and conference champ. Troy went from a 4 win team to conference champs in 2015/2016.

FAU was a 3 win team and caught fire last year and won CUSA.

We fired our horrible coach you did not. Also nobody thinks it was a talent issue with bad coaching just bad coaching. Throw in we only graduated 8 seniors last year TXST and GS are nowhere near in the same boat like last year. I dont think we win the East but we will not be hot garbage like the last two years.

Went with Troy / Ark St

1B App / Ark St

Darkhorse GaSt / GS both could take a huge step up this year.

As far as smack talking only about three teams really should be doing it from last year the rest of us at best were mediocre.
