Wow, an exciting day. I held out hope for Tubby longer than many, because I thought three years was fair. I thought the team was improving, and they were looking better than I expected. But the attendance, donations and, most notably, recruiting, made it clear it was time to move on.

I feel for the Tubster, but this gives us fans some real hope for brighter days ahead. Bring Penny on and let's rock it!

Have no idea, but am guessing Tubby still wants to coach.

Even if clearly he seemed a bit short of the energy level needed at a Memphis.

Would not be surprised for him to land at a lower profile job to finish out his career. Just an opinion.

Um, yeah. I watch 13 on ROKU here in Michigan and, um, yeah. If it was either of them it wasn't their fault.

After yesterday there were serious doubts, glad they pulled the trigger. Hopefully we get a good search out of this and gauge the interests of multiple coaches and not just throw the bus at Penny right away.
