Game Day: Niagara Falls in CIT
That's my bold prediction.

I think the crowd will be fine enhanced by a lot of our athletes from other sports.

RE: Game Day: Niagara Falls in CIT
Should be a fun game. As I mentioned in the other thread, Niagara is a guard-heavy team that loves to shoot (and make) threes. If we keep them out of the paint and force their short guys to shoot over our tall guys, I think we will be fine. Super complicated, I know.

The guy I will be watching is Kevin McAdoo. He opened some eyes in that Toledo game, and I'm hoping he builds off of it. Having another shooter/scorer on the floor will make life a heck of a lot easier for Thompson and Minnie inside, where they will have mismatches.

Kevin McaDoo should start over Ellison. I know Murphy wants to bring scoring off the bench but Ellison is an offensive liability.

I don't see Ellison as a starting guard in this Conference but mostly used as a role player in the future.

I still see him as the starting PG of the future with Kevin as the future SG. They are still only Freshmen and have plenty of time and room to grow and develop. Adjusting to college life and student athlete life can take some time.

RE: Game Day: Niagara Falls in CIT
I agree with both of you. McAdoo should be starting, but I think Ellison has plenty of room to grow and become a starter. Go watch his high school tape...what immediately jumps out at you is a fearless kid who plays a lot taller than he actually is. So far this year, we've seen very few spurts where he has played like that, and I think you can attribute it to being a true freshman in a league that is much bigger and faster than he's used to.

I think next season will be another year to grow behind Jackson, and I fully expect him to be the starting PG in his junior season.

I'm glad we're heavily favored, but why did six other teams get a bye?

I'm sure money is part of it. This tournament, like all the others, is based on money. Wonder if those teams paid a little extra for a bye.

Purple Eagles? Pfffft.

Let's leave purple streaks on the hardwood after this one.

Really low-quality video feed. Looks like the frame is zoomed in.

Pretty annoying that the student section is so empty.

Can't ask for a better start. We look extremely confident on both ends.

Football AND baseball team are there. But probably tucked away at the top of the seatbacks behind the student section.

Student athletes never wanted to get on their feet and cheer for other students athletes when I was running the student section. Never really understood that... Don't get me wrong. They would come and cheer, but wouldn't be caught dead standing up with other students.

Much better than the last CIT game. Not great, but a little bit smaller than the average game.

Looks like the court side seats are sold out though.

42-27. Dominant half. Teams will struggle against our length and zone with such little time to prepare.
