One of those guys fouled out with 4 minutes remaining. They get virtually no offense from either center, yet they were still able to beat arguably the most talented and deep team in the country.

Credit to the zone for completely confusing MSU, but Izzo deserves a ton of blame here. His gameplan for beating the 2-3 was terrible. They barely tried to go inside at all, and took like 40 three pointers. As I've always said, that plays right into what the zone wants to do.

Even with a team that barely made the dance, Boeheim is on to the Sweet 16. That guy knows how to win in March.

Sam,

You are right. That was terrible job of coaching by Izzo! Maybe the game is passing Izzo by.....

Yep, MSU averages something like 80 ppg and what just barely hit 50 yesterday?

BTW, it has to grate at MSU fans, but UofM is the highest seed (#3) remaining in their side of the bracket. The South and West brackets have been upset city, while the East and Midwest are largely intact.

The #1 and 2s are gone in the South and West brackets.

It shouldn't grate them too much; UM kicked their asses twice. And they lost a home game to Syracuse. They need to look in the mirror.
