My prediction:
Tubby is offered the opportunity to keep his job but he is being put on a PIP.
Conditions:
He must improve his PR responsibilities for the university. He IS responsible for putting butts in the seats at FEF.
He must shake up his staff, and improve the recruiting results.

I cannot imagine the public relations fiasco that would occur if TS did NOT get fired. After all of the leaking and the TS's attorney's statements, Bowen/Rudd would look like colossal idiots if they didn't announce Tubby's departure tomorrow.

IMO, Tubby is gone and he (and his attorney) have known about it for at least a week, likely longer. No way does a lawyer come out and publicly bash the UM and boosters, plus accuse the rumored new head coach of actively undermining the current staff, plus say that Tubby shouldn't have to worry about attendance, if he didn't already know that Tubby is getting fired and wanted to land some shots on the way out.

This sounds a lot like they are giving him one last chance and making it abundantly clear their expectations for him and his staff moving forward and if they are not met then he is gone. I hope my gut feeling is wrong, though. Goodness....
