I bet you lost your mind down there :)
Lost control of my people skills just a little. Ok, maybe more than a little. It happened right after Fornes was bulled over on a three point attempt. Neither of the two closest refs watched it happen. They both followed the shot.

I swear man, these Saturday night crews are the absolute worst. It really challenges the integrity of the league that we are forced to have such lousy officiating across the league on Saturday’s.

The refs last night were very inconsistent. First half they favored us and they realized it. So 2nd half to make up for it they let the Tribe get away with everything but fist fighting

Refs didn't favor UNCW from what I can see at any point. It was a mugging and the infamous flop. With that said, I like Nathan Knight. The kid showed good sportsmanship. He offered to help Devonte up after he landed on him and generally seemed concerned. You don't see that every day. Good for him and the Tribe for having a guy like that on their team.

You guys are definitely on the upswing. I am not sure either team played near its best last night, but it was a typical UNCW-W&M game with lots of scoring and back and forth. I was impressed with Bryan. He is playing very well. As for the refs, I did not think they favored one team over the other, certainly nothing close to the robbery than occurred Thursday at Towson. I think ultimately, the teams in the league are razor thin close which magnifies all close calls. Look at yesterday, Northeastern/Drexel a one point game, Charleston over JMU late, our close contest and even Delaware(completely undermanned) giving Hofstra everything it wanted into the last 30 seconds. Big week coming up as teams begin to try to nail down that top 6 slot to avoid a Saturday tourney game. 3 tough road games coming up for the Seahawks.

Agree completely. That, along with the backcourt call against us in the jmu game, were two of the worst calls I have seen lately. When I sat upstairs in Trask I thought the officiating was questionable at best. Now that I am downstairs, I can't imagine that our officials don't arrive with white canes and seeing eye dogs. The dogs could make better officials.
I must say that we contributed to our own demise Sat with poor shooting & turnovers but the "officials" stink, stank, stunk.

Great game, as always. Refs miss stuff and I didn't think the officials swayed the game one way or another. More fouls called on us than you...we hit our average per game and you were 4 PF under your average. It came down to one made 3 and could easily have gone the other way.
Had you told me Knight would only play for 29 minutes and we'd win, I would've laughed. Some team is going to have to be perfect to win the CAAT...it's anyone's title.

Tribe had a ton more fouls called 1st half, Hawks got the excess whistle in the 2nd half
Refs realized their was a discrepancy at half and made up for it in 2nd.
Also how bout that one ref who tried to give the ball to Tribe while Talley was calling timeout. He would be a great bad guy ref in WWE with that type of judgement

Big challenge this week for the northern trip for you guys. The Tribe still has that trip to come in a few weeks. Have to think a split would be an excellent result. Wright Foreman is a fantastic player and as you already know, Northeastern might be the most complete team right now. But, I was really impressed with Bryan(and of course, Cacok and Talley). Talley has really had a great career and deserves his success this season. He really stuck with the team despite his reduced minutes during your run the last 2 years. He is definitely all class and represents UNCW very well.
Sounds like the goal right now is to pass either Elon or Towson to move out of the bottom 4. Really still the main goal for everyone is to clinch a top 6 seed as quick as they can. Charleston/Northeastern winner this week has the inside track on the #1 seed.

Northeastern has five out of eight at home, and a win would give them at least a head-to-head split against the rest of the top four. If Charleston wins their next three; which are at Northeastern, at Hofstra, and hosting William & Mary; they will have head-to-head sweeps over the first two with their game at William & Mary last. They would be in good shape if they win two out of three. After those three, Charleston has four games they could all win. They host Drexel, go to JMU and you, and host Elon. William & Mary has five out of eight at home but still goes to Charleston, Hofstra, and Northeastern. Hofstra has five out of eight at home and the best team they have to go to is Elon.
