Memphis literally scheduled a 1 and done game at Purdue for less money(which is worse). Do some research before you act like an ass.
Also, we started playing before 2000...
Also, this school that's new to this football thing has a 7-1 record against your school...
why? we already have 7 home games that season...might as well go make 750k and beat a Big10 team.
I meant worse in comparison. I dont think its a bad thing. Play p5 schools and beat them! People gave us **** for having a soft schedule, then we schedule a commonly ranked opponent and we get **** on. I'm sure Alabama is just waiting for us to schedule a home and home with them. Hell they wouldnt even schedule a pay game with a decent AAC team.
I wouldn't mind scheduling more like this if it gets a strong SOS every year.
This forum for whatever reason is so douchey towards all things USF
1. the site of your football team called the Bulls playing in a rented NFL stadium that has a pirate ship in it incites anger in most of us and makes USF an EASY object of ridicule
2. your men's basketball team is low major bad and is an RPI/SOS killer for every team here
3. Tampa is not really South Florida
1. Not sure why that incites anger...
2. Can't argue with that.
3. At the time it was the most southern blah blah blah
At least I know the source for the hate now lol

Completely agree. On principle I would have denied this were it my call. If a 2-1 was necessary I would have done with someone else.
There's a good chance this was the best we could get. I believe it will be harder to schedule fairly with p5 conferences. The AAC is strong and p5 teams dont want to lose to us.
It sucks but if we do it and win, it will only help us. It has a little Bobby Bowden to it...
I did so research before I "acted like an ass" and I've seen H&H's with multiple ACC teams. No 2 for 1's with former CUSA schools like Louisville.....
When UL was in CUSA it was similar to what the AAC is today...not sure the slam is justified

The original C-USA was probably stronger...Louisville and TCU...two of the three that got the perminent callup to the P5-(Utah is the other school)

Really? You're going to complain about people being douchey towards USF when this was your very first post in this thread:

They dumb. We have a 1 and 1 with mizzou coming up, finished one and ones with Kansas and UCLA, one and one with miss state in the horizon. Gave a open schedule date to Purdue. Lmao
2 for one with Louisville. Never.

I don't know how any non-p5 team will ever get in the playoffs. They say to schedule good teams, but how the heck are you supposed to know what teams will be good to schedule 4-8 years from now ... The players on those teams haven't even made it to HS yet most likely.
Bingo—. There’s no way to know. That’s why the whole system is a joke. Set up to never allow a team they don’t want in the wink wink “playoff”
I don’t agree with a 2 for 1. USF is just as good as Louisville. Should be 1 for 1 but I’m sure UL wouldn’t do it. They forgot where they came from.

Hmm no. Louisville actually has 55k real bodies at games. USF doesn't. Louisville is a much bigger brand than USF too.

CUSA 1.0 was a very good conference in football and basketball. Became better than the defunct Big East before re-alignment 1.0 came around IMHO.

Or maybe USF was looking to pick up 1.3 million to help balance the budget as they know the realignment fund money is almost exhausted.

I think what he is getting at is it doesn't really matter, because the game will be played. USF has not had any problems getting anyone to come to Tampa. USF already played series with NC State and UNC in the past, among many others. To my knowledge, the only return game that was bought out was by Michigan State, everyone else completed the series, with many of those USF getting the first game. Georgia Tech and Illinois are coming or came to USF first.

I don't care what he's getting at. He was asked a question and he refused to answer said question. So that must mean he's trolling the thread.
Not to mention Louisville doesn't need to play any games in FLA in order to recruit players from there. That is the dumbest talking point I've seen. "We can't recruit FLA unless we play a school from FLA!" Yes you can. It's easy.

Who pissed in your Cheerios tuff guy to come across as a doosch?
The Knight fan asked a question I don't know the specific answer too. I took it as a rhetorical question...if it is out there he can look it up.
As far as playing in Florida...it is a valid point. UL plays At FSU every other year but Tallahassee is 4 hours from Tampa/Orlando and 7-8 hours from South Florida. Northern ACC teams do like playing games in Central and South Florida. I know this is a fact for Cuse as I was told by a rep in the AD office they like to play there. If you can't figure that out...I can't help you.
