not a single of houston, cincy or smu has played wsu but have all made bracketology, all in computer wise...why would we be praying for 3....
if anything would a non-wsu allows ucf and temple to pile up wins.. temple has done enough in ooc, now they just need to get the win count needed
temple likely has 2 more loses with WSU, instead of a second game with ecu and memphis

Your analysis is incorrect. While Wichita State certainly could not tip the scales in the Valley with so many programs so far from the line of demarcation, in the AAC there are many more "historical bubble teams". The cachet that WSU enjoys at the moment is going to be the tide that lifts all boats. You'll see by the time WSU has completed its tour of the AAC.
To summarize:
AAC sans WSU = 2 (maybe 3 bids with a miracle)
AAC with WSU = 3.75 (maybe 5 bids with something quite a ways beneath a miracle)
There are maybe 2 teams in the conference at the moment that will literally punch their Dance card with a win over WSU. This genie-like power goes beyond metrics; this is due to the reputation we've earned winning 11 NCAA games over the last decade. The committee knows that if you beat WSU, you've done something notable.
Please don't try to argue against the fact that the selection committee uses factors unsupported by popular strength ratings, as they clearly do. A win over WSU in conference will be worth an x-factor of NCAA tournament credit.

you are missing the point. that rpi wise, bracketology wise, sagarin wise, every computer wise, as is, we have 3 non wsu teams high enough to get a bid, and projected to make it, and not a single one of those teams has played wichita yet...
you are giving yourselves credit for the 3rd team which isnt even close to reality
temple is on the bubble too rpi wise...without wichita theyd have 2 more easy wins...theyd have a drastically better chance of entering the tourney on a 19-11 record with a #15 strength of schedule.. that 17-13 on the #2..if you beat temple both times inviting you actually hurt them not help..
if temple beats you, and we get 5th team in, you can take credit for that

Memphis will be taking the strategy of laying down for the top teams in the conference (See Cincy game) to make sure we don't spoil your chances. You can thank Tubby.

How very kind of you. Please coordinate with USF, ECU, Tulane, and UConn as well. Your consortium shall be named, "The 5th Bid".

Calling someone a "Lebo" is a bannable offense. Really should censor that, it is so horrific

If you count UConn at 102...9 members of the aac is in the RPI Top 100. That must be double from last season.
