Let's not go over board about Wisconsin. First, if, the game is scheduled, we don't know how far into the future. Could be ten years from now.

Wisconsin has bad seasons less often than EMU has good seasons

Army finds themselves in the exact situation we were against them. To go for 2 or not.

But they succeed where we didn’t.

Good find!!

1.4M is a lot of bucks to a school like EMU because our home gates are so small.

We literally need to pick up say an extra 1/2M in road game guarantees to compensate for what we do not get from home ticket sales.

If we were like Toledo and a few other MAC schools with significant home game ticket revenues we could afford to play a lower guarantee game.

Steve,

Hopefully if CC could win consistently, we could become one of those MAC schools. Plus our 2019 gate should be improved based on home games with Kentucky and Sandiego State

You're right and 2018 (this season) won't be bad. I love the MAC home games with CMU, Toledo, NIU, and Army.

If I lived in MI I would definitely buy a season ticket to watch those kind of schools.

Assuming we have a good 2018 I would be interested to see the prices of say Kentucky and SDSU and the season ticket sales for 2019.

Fans want to see good OOC teams and 2019 is it.

RE: 2018 Football Schedule
BTW, last year the FB schedule (all games, no times) was announced March 1.

Key date is SEPT 15. We have an open date as does UB, CMU and NIU. Hope MAC schedule two conference games instead of byes.

Hoping we get either CMU or NIU at home. UB on the road, not my preference.

Don't want an open date again early in the season. Having CMU in Rynearson in mid-September might bring in a very nice crowd.

This happened in 2010, and indeed that was probably the best crowd of the season.
