Three ranked teams, lock for a big bowl. AAC Championship game is gonna be a beast. Top teams winning their ooc games.
10-0 UCF
9-1 Memphis
9-1 USF
Wins over 2 Big ten teams and a PAC team
Actually, we have wins vs two PAC teams as well. But, the one thing we sorely lack this year is a quality win over a P5 team. The CFP cannot be accused of disrespecting us, as 100% of our accomplishments have come against each other or other G5.
Look at those "two Big Ten wins" you tout: UCF beat Maryland. Maryland is 4-7 and after losing to Penn State next week will be 4-8. They are last in the Big Ten Legends or whatever.
USF beat Illinois. Illinois hasn't won a game since September 9th.
IOW's, we beat the two last-place B1G teams.
And Memphis, the other AAC division winner, beat 5-6 UCLA. They need to beat Cal to be bowl eligible next week, and they'd be out of it entirely if not for the inexplicable comeback vs Texas A/M.
The one semi-respectable P5 win we have is Houston > Arizona way back in early September. Even after getting crushed by a mediocre Oregon team last night, Arizona is 7-4 and going to a bowl. But let's face it, they got WAY better when Khalil Tate became their QB, which came after the Houston game.
So claims of disrespect are pretty silly. The CFP and pollsters are treating UCF, USF, and Memphis as if we've done anything vs the P5 this year.
