And you keep believing it's still a fan site, when it isn't. Bought by CNN-Time Warner, and fully staffed with professional sportswriters. It is the online sports page of CNN.

So, who is the real nitwit?

Dude, they don't use fans as writers any more. It's a complete pro sportswriting staff, just like any other sports publication.

Keep digging that silly hole you're in. 01-wingedeagle

Isn’t it funny that non-UCF fans are obsessing over this fake story more than UCF fans?

Hmmm....

UCF, like Memphis, will eventually lose their head football coach to another program. It is the price for success for all but a handful of schools.

Scott says reports "totally false"

The Sporting News, 25 November 2016: Reports of leaving Houston are 'absolutely' false, Tom Herman says

Quote:"Don’t believe anything that you read," Herman told ESPN about the coaching rumors before Friday's game against Memphis, adding that the reports are "absolutely" false.

"I’m not going to talk about any other job except the one I got right now and these kids," Herman said. "There’s nothing to handle except beating Memphis."

Hmmm....

And the same thing was done for the Memphis/Houston/USF ex coaches. Stop being so sensitive and get over it. When there's this much info being thrown around, it's usually true. Maybe UCF will step up and give him a raise, so it will be harder to leave.

We will lose Frost, only question is when. This season has been Magic, and I will enjoy it. If he goes after next week I simply say good luck and thanks for the ride.

Frost denied the story as fake news in the Sunday Orlando Sentinel.

Not every head coach is looking to move on to bigger and better things. How many "better" jobs could Ken Niumatalolo have taken if he pursued them? Just saying.

I agree. The point is nearly every coach has to say that, whether or not it is true. That's just how the game is played. In a lot of instances, the coach can say that he isn't talking to school X. Because they aren't, their agent may or may not be.

I don't know what's going to happen. I also know that whatever is said in the press is just part of negotiations and rarely reflects the real truth. You only know what the real truth is after the fact.

He gone....Just a matter of when. That is just the way it is for non P5 schools. All we can do is get the most out of these guys as we can while we have them and do like USF...possibly catch a good one on the way down that might stay a while.

I was with you till the end. I'd rather catch a coach on the way up like Herman or Frost than on the way down like Charlie Strong.

LOL. You think I'm trolling? Do you ever pay attention here?

I think UCF beats USF, and then likely beats Memphis. I only posted that about a dozen times. That's why I have been pulling for USF.

I don't troll. I saw the report on Nebraska247, and if you saw one I hadn't seen about Norvell, I would want to see it. I follow this stuff.

I also said, first title word, "Unconfirmed."

Get pissed at me if you want. You're wasting your energy.

Do I think Frost is gone? The whole world does outside UCF fans. Do I think Norvell is gone? Yep.

Do I think this report is accurate? No idea. No confirmation, though, so I wouldn't trust it yet. But that doesn't mean we can't post what shows up in the media, lol.

Would you rather just stick your head in the sand?

Would be nice if we could discuss the pros and cons of the report, and get up out of the juvenile crap once in a while. Silly me. 03-lmfao

Lighten up, Francis.*

Im not sure Strong fits into any down category. He has only had 3 losing seasons out of 13 and is 63-38 overall. He jumped on the dreaded Texas job and just never got it going. He was never embraced by the fans there from day one. Probably a horrible choice for him as it turned out. USF got a hell of experienced guy that has a 3 and 3 bowl record and won 2 BE conference championships. He is no slouch.
