No lifeline to any school that chose to leave over the last 20 years.

I'm also in the USM & Marshall camp. It would gut CUSA.

The Sun Belt is taking zero teams as long as you can have a CCG with ten teams, the college playoff payout remains a set amount instead of per team and or if UALR does not start a team.

No way in hell does any AD or Pres vote for losing hundreds of thousands of dollars as there is no team that will add more value than they cost.

The end.

What makes more sense than simply adding two teams is to split up the SBC and CUSA into regional conferences.

SBC - West
Ark State, N. Texas, LA Tech, ULM, USM, USA,
Louisiana, Rice, TX State, UTSA, UTEP, NMSU

CUSA - East
Marshall, MT, WKU, App State, ODU, Charlotte, (add Liberty or JMU)
GA State, GA Southern, CCU, FIU, FAU, UAB, Troy

Unless we add mascot killing and coaches knocking up basketball players. Then you guys are top of the list!

I'd have to check to be sure, but I'm pretty sure those are categories for the GSU/GS rivalry trophy.

No thanks. Heck, I want UAB to drop FB again. Troy and S.Alabama should be the only G5 programs in Alabama... actually, S.Alabama should move down to FCS. Troy recruiting would be so much easier that way... :D

USM and LA Tech in a heartbeat, wouldn't mind trading LA Tech for either ULM or ULL, or even both.

Hahaha please, please do that go with the Crown Jewel of the UL system! This is the same school
has put down the Sunbelt for years, who refused to play ULM in a bowl game, who has nothing to offer but a mediocre to alright football program, where do we sign ourselves out of the Sunbelt to make way for the Necksters!

2014 - 48-10 LaTech Win vs ULL
2015 - 43-14 LaTech Win vs ULL

If we are mediocre to alright that make y'all?

Your program is mediocre and that's being generous.

03-lmfao Good one but if cheating to get Bowl wins is added, ULL wins hands down!

We'll take Southern Miss and Western Kentucky. Thank You.

Move South Al to the West.

I think USM just fits better in the SBC. They have fan support, they are in a college town and they seem more interested in playing football than patches on sleeves. They just seem like a good cultural fit that would develop rivalries with a lot of us quickly.

Outside of them, I guess I would like for the Bobcats to have a neighbor.

Western Kentucky will never happen. Some bad blood left over from their departure. Plus I'm pretty sure WKUGY might have a coronary if he was ever told he'd have to travel to Jonesboro for a football game again...

Someone's already said it by my vote would be USM and UTSA.

Has anyone called USM, they may have someone in mind that they'd like to bring with them.

I don't want MT to join your conference;
I just want to play GaSo annually as a cross-conference
Rivalry game every November. Be good for both programs.

I think CUSA should take So Miss but Marshall instead of La Tech

Make it so! Time to get some fresh blood in this former rivalry. There's a reason why I'd want to end up with App, MT, ODU, and Marshall if there ever was realignment and it's because we have history with all of them.

The correct answer is Southern Miss and Missouri State. We already have an ASU and a USA, so we need a MSU and a USM.

West - TSU, ASU, MSU, USM, UL, ULM
East - GS, GSU, ASU, CCU, USA, TU

If we go to 14, we have to add LU and TAMUCC to give Louisiana and Coastal Carolina their "mirrors".03-lmfao

Nothing against MSU but why in the world bring in an FCS if you could get two solid programs from the CUSA?
