Again, we would drop football before going FCS. Neither is going to happen so drop it.

No thanks. Heck, I want UAB to drop FB again. Troy and S.Alabama should be the only G5 programs in Alabama... actually, S.Alabama should move down to FCS. Troy recruiting would be so much easier that way... :D

USM and LA Tech in a heartbeat, wouldn't mind trading LA Tech for either ULM or ULL, or even both.

Hahaha please, please do that go with the Crown Jewel of the UL system! This is the same school
has put down the Sunbelt for years, who refused to play ULM in a bowl game, who has nothing to offer but a mediocre to alright football program, where do we sign ourselves out of the Sunbelt to make way for the Necksters!

2014 - 48-10 LaTech Win vs ULL
2015 - 43-14 LaTech Win vs ULL

If we are mediocre to alright that make y'all?

Your program is mediocre and that's being generous.
Unless we add mascot killing and coaches knocking up basketball players. Then you guys are top of the list!

If that excuse can be used for NMSU why not other schools? Long way from us anyway.

Marshall is closer to Jonesboro than we are. NMSU is also twice the distance from Jonesboro that Marshall is.

As a middle of the conference school, I'll concede, you give us USM, I don't care the other team that comes in.

If it were to be UAb then that is a close, 4 hours away, for stAte.

Let's just stick a dagger in CUSA, take out their heart. Much like the MWC did to the WAC.

Well think the west Schools want Division I-A programs that are established. This is why NMSU should of been allowed in the conference. I can understand Idaho and letting them go they are on an island by themselves. We need to take the best candidate, regardless of travel, this is Division I-A, and we need other Division I-A programs and not a glorified Southern Conference.
In case it slipped your mind SoCon move ups have won 2 of the last 3 conf championships. With the exception of Louisiana, Rice, So Miss & UTEP everyone in the Sunbelt and CUSA are former 1-AA / FCS programs. Besides, there are more than enough good programs to fill out two leagues.

MTSU fans made some nasty and very unfriendly exit remarks. No thank you.

No to MTSU. They still talk all kind of trash about the SBC.

I would imagine MTSUs AD would find the going difficult if he sought membership.

Put me down for USM and Marshall too. I'd even consider dropping the fee to get them. The long term benefits would outweigh the initial loss of $.

The eastern schools got CCU, it is time for the west to get a team.
