Thought I would revisit this one more time, because there is now hope.

Not because his lackadaisical approach to his job damaged the SBC and cost everyone money.

Not that he was 0-2 in bowls and just lost to a school that was probably #2 on the "most hated" list of their alumni.

Not that he was on a four game losing streak after proclaiming it was "Dallas or Bust", in 2016.

Nope, none of this was not enough to take the shine off of Blake Anderson.

What he did that changed everything was somehow manged to do the unthinkable....get beat by an in-state FCS.

Apparently that did it.

Now there is hope that the school flashing all those rings in the face of recruit, and throwing out words like "dynasty" and "monster" , are going to stop being an embarrassment to everyone, including themselves.

Well maybe, and the way 2016 ended certainly supports the idea.

The open question is if that coach can coordinated an offense and coach QB's. Stay tuned, 2017 should answer a lot of questions.

Man, why does A-State keep letting bums like Hugh Freeze, Gus Malzahn, Brian Harsin, and Blake Anderson drag down their team. They'd be winning every Sun Belt game by 40 if they could just get a decent coach in town.

Yes, but we all know how this works

1. Seminole makes some strange post that indirectly, directly attacks AState or one of its coaches.

2. AState fans spend the next few posts making fun of Seminole

3. Rest of the conference ignores Seminole, knowing by now how he operates, but giggles at the distress he causes AState fans.

Actually I just though my post was directed at Blake Anderson.

I've nothing but respect for A-State, and IMO they are the best football program in the SBC, and certainly the most talented overall.

That would have been much more evident if Anderson had focused on what he was hired to do, and saved both A-State and the SBC some embarrassment.

I gave my opinion on the subject when I was asked by someone that could do something about it, and they apparently did.
