I thought I heard 8 - 10K, but regardless, there is a big difference between say 8K and 80K.

Yea probably. In the long run it just results in lower revenue since nobody wants to go to those games.

The MAC released the conference schedule today. They said that the crossover games that are gone and home were randomly selected.


Quote:CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced Thursday, the release of the 2017-18 MAC Men's Basketball conference schedule.

The conference season is set to tip-off on Tuesday, January 2nd with a full slate of games. MAC Men's Basketball teams will play 18-games over 10-weeks (9 home, 9 away) this season. Each school will play seven teams (5 in division, 2 cross division) twice and four (cross division) teams once. This year's additional cross-divisional games (1 home, 1 away) were randomly selected.

Two games on the men’s conference slate have already been selected to air on ESPN, while seven have already been picked to air on CBS Sports Network. See below for those selections.

The men's basketball regular season will come to a close on Friday, March 2nd. This year's MAC Men's Basketball Tournament will begin Monday, March 5th with first round games on campus before moving to Cleveland's Quicken Loans Arena (March 8-10). The MAC Men’s Basketball Semifinal games will once again air on CBS Sports Network, while the Championship Game will be played on Saturday, March 10th (Time TBA, ESPN2).
